Nutrition and food security

Thanks to the partnership with PAM, SIKSE has implemented an emergency food assistance project in the form of unconditional cash transfers and food distribution in the Northern, Northeast, Northwest, and Nippes departments. This project follows a participatory approach where local actors and individuals affected by food insecurity are at the center of the process for identifying and prioritizing humanitarian needs and selecting beneficiaries.

Total beneficiaries: 40,000

  • Carrying out food distribution cycles to households.
  • Distributing cash to families affected by the food crisis.
  • Providing hot meals to families displaced by conflict in Port-au-Prince.
